Haylie Habeck, age 20, of Cascade, is the daughter of Paul and Donna Habeck. She is a graduate of Random Lake High School and recently completed her sophomore year at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she is double majoring in Animal and Veterinary Biosciences and Dairy and Food Animal Management.
Haylie currently works at the USDA-inspected meat plant at UW-Madison, and is also involved in dairy cattle research there. In her free time, she enjoys working on her family’s beef cattle farm, reading, shadowing veterinarians, and playing on an intramural volleyball team. Her long-term career goal is to become a large-animal veterinarian specializing in beef and dairy cattle. She hopes to return to Sheboygan County to serve the agricultural community and give back to local 4-H youth.
