Looking for a safe and secure place to store your recreational vehicles this winter? The Sheboygan County Fair is once again opening our barns and buildings for winter storage. Space is available for boats, campers, pontoons, vehicles, trailers, jet skis, motorcycles, RVs, and more.
- If you stored with us last year, you may begin calling the Fair office to reserve your space starting September 15 at 9:00 a.m.
- Please note: no space will be held until a reservation has been made.
- Winter storage begins in late October, with all items to be removed by early April.
- Storage is priced by the foot, measured by total overall length from the furthest forward point (including the trailer tongue) to the furthest rear point of the vehicle or trailer.
Storage Guidelines
- The use of portable heaters, blow torches, flammable paint remover, gasoline, and other flammable solvents in the storage areas is prohibited.
- Liquefied petroleum gas (LP tanks) and compressed natural gas (CNG) cylinders, reserve supplies of stove alcohol or kerosene, charcoal, and wet cell batteries shall be removed.
- All portable fuel tanks shall be removed from the premises or emptied and contents properly disposed of. If empty caps are to be removed. Permanently installed fuel tanks shall be stored approximately 95 percent full.
- Have your portable electronic equipment and other valuables removed to prevent theft.
- Fresh water systems, bathroom systems, and heat and air conditioning units should be properly winterized.
- This space rental is made upon the express condition that the Lessor shall not be liable for any claims or any injury to renter’s property, occasioned by acts of the Renter or any third parties, nor from any passive negligence of Lessor, nor from damages caused by gas, water, fire, smoke, Acts of God, explosions, insects, animals, heat, cold, ice nor natural causes. The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Lessor from any and all such damages, and expenses connected therewith. It is understood that the Lessor may at any time refund and unearned prorate portion of said rental and require Renter to move the stored items immediately.
